Dans le bois

By squelette on January 5, 2026 12:01 am

This was started on my M8 in august while I was out camping. It was going nowhere then, so I did my best to wrap it up last week while waiting in the hospital.

Sounds are my own acoustic drum samples, Yamaha CK61 and Juno 106 homebrew samples. The bass was generated on the m8

Some outboard post-processing.

Smooth!

Let's GO!

J'aime vraiment la drive. Le petit synth on top est vraiment le fun, je t'entends rapper la dessus. smile

P-être une follow up track?

Good job.

Very chill, lovely sounds. Makes me want to sample my own drum sounds. Can't wait to hear the next things ^^

Nice and chill, lovely funky bass. Nice wet snare slap with the chorus on it. The pitch down at the end of the loop is a fun way to break it up.

Sweet crunchy goodness and the groove is spot on. + Works as nice loop to jam with some Wurli Pads.

Peace!

Nice ambling feel between the drums and funky bassline. I love how the "wawawawawawa" part pitches down here and there as though catching its breath.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment!

Thanks! So the snare modulation is actually the ''degrade'' parameter, controlled by the ''drunk'' LFO at a very low rate. Probably my favorite lil party trick on the m8.  It also goes through the phaser, very subtly

Got a bit of a west coast g funk flavor, right up my alley!

Chill and smooth! Sounds different from what I usually associate with M8. Very cool.

Ah, lovely calming music on a rough Sunday!

Dig the fact that you make your own samples for the M8, those drums sound very mellow and sweet.

Oh yeah you got my head boppin' to this trippy chill tune
