Picked up the chord progression from a song I did a few weeks ago and made it into something totally different. Used the MS2000 as my recorded element this week to fatten up the bass.

Spent 30 minutes putting in an A and a B bass and basic bass drum and snare pattern. Threw together a structure in 10 minutes. Spent 20 minutes recording bass loops off the MS and another 30 minutes chopping them up and mixing the song a bit. Spent about an hour trying to record flute keyboard parts and it ended up sounding out of tune with the synths so I scrapped that part. Spent an hour writing and mixing in arpeggios instead. Took another hour to balance the parts and cover everything in fxs. Total work time about 4 hours 30 mintues!
