Recombinant Dungeon Exploration (Part 1 and 2) (WB06)

By spry on February 10, 2024 8:33 pm

Tried my hand and writing some dungeon synth inspired music this week. Ended up making a 10 minute plus two part backbeat soundscape with trumpets big_smile Part one ends around the 3:30 mark and part 2 begins with the unfiltered entrance of the drums big_smile I'm sure there is a lot I could have done to touch up this song but I ran out of time this week D:

Bass guitar, computer drums, live trumpet, live synth off the MS2000, looped and fxed and chopped and screwed to completion

About 6 hours work on a Saturday morning and afternoon

Solid mood and atmosphere! Neat stuff. big_smile

I love me some dungeon synth. Love the laid back vibes. Great relaxing feels. Good for a late night.

How cool is that! Your trumpet from far away and that gentle organ. The drums are superb and almost tribal. A very trippy and relaxing song. Well done.

Super dope sound. Organ and trumpet are on point, the best is just right. The definition of leaning into it. A proper journey, fits super well the dungeon theme. Actually perfect for my brain that associates dungeons primarily with Dungeon Keeper 1, played on old as hell computer when I was a little kid. Glad for the electric guitar that comes in midway.

Excellent track with a massive mood—the second part could play proudly alongside DJ Krush (in a dungeon)
