Can You See The Future? (WB04)

Went down a rabbit hole on this one. Started by writing a line from the chorus and then building around that. It went further than I initially expected.
Took 30 minutes writing in some basic drums in the computer, deciding tempo and putting together some chords on the guitar. Recorded guitar loops and edited them into a structure over the next 45 minutes. Spent about 45 minutes looping that and writing some lyrics and testing out vocal lines. 30 minutes recording vocal parts. Then I spent at least an hour listening to, editing, lining up, doubling, volumizing and sequencing the vocals. Another hour writing and recording synth and bass parts most of which I discarded along the way in favor of featuring the guitar. I tried to wrap my head around the mixing but it was pretty late and I let it rest for a day. Came back to it the next day and spent another 2 hours editing, listening, reediting, adding fx and volumizing. 30 minutes of polishing up the master track and it was finally ready to export! Total work time about 6 hours over two sessions.
EDIT: After that export I noticed some imbalance in the bass drum and vox and remixed it a bit. add another 20 minutes on the total to about 6 hours 20 minutes
Lyrics:
Can you see the future?
Must be out there somewhere
I'll always be looking
To gather what I find
Near and far I'm searching
For something left behind
When you see the future
Life becomes a nightmare
