Beautiful Maze (WB9)

so i wrote this song about 6 years ago in college and its been sitting in my notebook and hasnt seen the light of day in all that time. i decided to pull it out and finish it this week along with a couple other old tunes on a whim when i got frustrated with the LSDJ track i was working on. its been a long time since ive worked on stuff like this, but i think its about time. i could use some CC though cause i feel really rusty :-X

Around each blinded corner another path awaits our fate
But if he takes this world to last would he try not to escape?
Though I couldn't slow it or even underscore it the world before my eyes was shrinking fast
Though I couldn't slay it or even just belay it this beast of mine is taking its own path
