Time is hard to pin down these days so I wrote this one in 7/4. Took a small clip of guitar and synth as my recorded element for the week.

Spent 40 minutes manipulating samples and building a soundscape, 20 minutes deciding on notes and rhythm for the treble parts, 10 minutes setting up a structure, 20 minutes writing a few weird drum patterns, 5 minutes sampling it onto the stack, 15 minutes drawing in some filters and 10 minutes adjusting master track and volumes. Total work time about 2 hours!

I was wondering how you got that atmospheric texture. That's the guitar and synth? Well done, it has this warm lush vibe. The drum sounds good.

Thanks! This was definitely an experiment and i had no idea how it was going to turn out when i started. It was a small snip of guitar and synth from my previous weeks weeklybeat and i looped that and drenched it in fx to make the pad background.
