welcome to/back my fellow weekly beaters!!
having completed two years of this (2018/2022) i’ve decided to give it another go! always excited, but wary. it’s a long year and the world is crazy so i won’t beat (heh) myself up if i can’t make it.
either way, if you are new to my particular brand of weekly beat, i like to think of my works here as auditory paintings. i can’t really give you a style besides self indulgent, but i do think you’ll hear stuff we’ve both never heard before! i hope we can all enjoy 52 new songs from this project and look forward to another journey.

as for this specific song... it's the third one i have made this morning. i was hoping to use this week to craft something wonderful for the start, but i got fluA for christmas and have been battling that ever since. I wrote some beautiful arpeggiated stuff that just wasn't doing it for my brain. gorgeous and spacey but not how i was feeling inside: frustrated. so as i was about to submit one of those tracks, i gave it one more go and here we are. i'd like to do more things 'like this', whatever that means is up to future me to decide. either way, one in the bank!
