When I first got my dog (almost 3 years ago already!) I used to set my phone to record on walks because I would get stopped every two minutes, people would gush over how cute she was and talk about her eyes. She's a mix breed rescue, black with some white and brindle fur and her eyes are bluish/white. Anyway, I finally went through some of those recordings and included one in this track.

Overall, not sure how I feel about this track or the mix mostly because I'm tired of hearing it today. Enjoy!

Pic of puppy as per E-dub's request

Now we need a picture of the dog.

Posted a link in the song description! smile

I like the mellow vibe on this.  My dogs (and cats) have influenced a surprisingly large amount of my music.  Either through samples or I just find it easy to come up with songs by singing to them. Also cute dog!

Somber tones. Great old school chill vibe with those samples. Cool rhodes and bass work. And confirmed super cute pup!

super chill B-)

Thanks! I definitely relate to the singing songs to your pets thing (I have a cat as well), I've come up with many forgotten melodies over the years.

Thanks! There was some 'old school chill' thing I was drawn to in the rough idea, I'm happy it gelled together.

Thank you smile

Oooh, that's a lovely track, I really like the scintillating bells and the wind instruments taking turns to visit. Pup is very cute!!

Very relaxed and smooth. smile

cool dog + dope beat

very relaxing stuff, nicely melancholic. The flute sound is a great element for this slightly sorrowful ennui of the track.

...and very nice dog too. Better not show it to my wife or we have a dog too in no time smile

suuuch chill vibes. Love the drums here too, equally chill.

Thanks!

really like how there is a bit of call and response between different instruments & sounds, feels like a lot is happening but never too busy

Dog looks adorable. Songs is chilled and great-sounding as usual. I sincerely didn't make sense of what the voices were saying, partly because english is not my mother language and I must somewhat concentrate.

Arrangement sounds pretty darn solid to me, though I can understand that "I can't listen to this tune anymore" feeling (have yoy experienced that "is it me or all the bars sound the same" feeling too?)

Another thumbs up for being both a cat and a dog lover!
