Gaslamp Glow

I was hoping to work on some ambient/classical stuff because I'm trying to wrap up a little album but I got sidetracked with this little folk number which I wrote and recorded yesterday. Pretty rough and simple recording, hoping to spruce it up at some point and maybe get my girlfriend to do some vocals on it but I think it's a decent start. Enjoy!

very nice folk.....

It's always nice to hear some acoustic folk music.  A female backing vocal could definitely sound really good on this, but it's good as is.

I hate to compare...but, it's pretty natural to do so. The sparse quality of this reminds me of stripped down Iron and Wine/Red Red Meat/Red House Painters more than a simple folky song. Pretty cool.

I've been banging "Courtyard hound" like crazy on my playlist for 2 weeks now, so I'm completely up for some more folk. Astonishing composer skills, and a great voice.

Intimate and uplifting... I simply love your music smile

your singing reminds of nick drake's at times

This! That's been on high rotation in my soundworld recently.

Would love to see you blend your ambient/classical with your folky talents.
Let me know if want some double bass layed down on your tracks!

Great, just great.

I've been obsessed with Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon for half my life, Iron & Wine too. I was actually afraid that this sounded too much like Iron & Wine...but I don't know Red Red Meat so I'll have to check that out!

God, I would love this! We should talk.

Great track. Makes me feel easy.

Beautiful!

Crown jewels for the soul sublime.

Nice.  Love the guitar layering and harp is spot on.  :-)
