Far From Morning

Pretty moody piece that seems to move along in little fragmented chapters. I used a bit from a song a few weeks ago to fill in the end because, frankly, I like this track more. I hope this song takes you places! Enjoy

Well your track is gorgeous, thank you for this beautiful "intermède".
Merci, c'est très beau, and the title is evocative as it should as well, I might listen to it tomorrow morning in the stinky Paris metro...
I love the picture too, did you take it yourself?

Thanks! I wish I was taking the stinky Paris metro, I'll instead be on the stinky Toronto metro!

I didn't take the picture myself, but you gave me the idea to start posting some of my own photos with my songs

The hiss is so effective here!  Great job.  Wow.  Getting chills.

I haven't felt like this since Max Richter's 'The Blue Notebooks'

What did you use to make this?

very beautiful, even on the instrument level.

Thanks! Umm...where to begin...I had some of the atmosphere (synths and samples), that bass thing and violins first, then I played some piano at the beginning and tweaked it until it sounded like a decent composition. Played some guitar chords at the end and dropped in a piece from another track after that. I played some of the violin and filled it out with some VST strings because I'm terrible at it. Basically just a ton of time fiddling with every little bit until it all flowed nicely together. smile

is it me or do your tracks keep getting better?
