Sunahara-esque (OPL2)

Another week, another reverse engineer. Trying another crack at a Yoshinori Sunahara-esque track (Spiral Never Before, one of my favorites). Mostly using it is a a sound design exercise. Despite the similarity to my usual style, I think he leans into minimal elements than I expected and it requires a different approach than I'm used to to build on. Definitely want to push this sketch further when I have some more time.

Not familiar with Sunahara, but I'm loving this track. Really nice use of the OPL2 sound palette - especially the wood-block-esque sound that goes up and down is really cool. Could listen for longer!
