Simple House Groove Jam

By Snyderman on January 14, 2018 11:28 pm

I used mostly Logic Pro X built-in plugins.
-Drummer to automate a lot of the percussion
-A deep house kick from Ultrabeat
-EXS24 using the Grand Piano
-The E-Piano for the lead
-For the bass, my standby from last week, JUCEOPLVSTi, love that round sine FM bass.

This was an old session that I started a while back when I was feeling unmotivated. I started with a basic Drummer pattern, then vamped and looped two alternating chords: Cm7 and CM7.  In the last few days I finished programming the bassline, improvised the E-Piano, adjusted some percussion loops and fixed quantization issues and finished up the arrangement.

I love the overall bounciness here - especially in the bass.  Great melody and chord progression too!

Feelin like I should be at club in the Bahamas.

This is a dope beat + bassline. Nice piano segment. Did you jam that out + record it while letting the lest of your track play out?
