Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Made it a goal this week to spend some time learning to construct a drum kit for the NES DPCM channel to make better use of the full sound instead of limiting to the typical 4 channels. Got the NES SMB3 drum kit in there and had fun constructing something. I couldn't decide whether to do drum and bass or blues-y funk so ended up doing both!

Drums sound great, LOVE when the bass comes in! The shufflely feel with the little arps and drums all together is great. Half-time break down and then into shuffle is really fun! What a cool transition
