Beltline Beat

Speedtrash hip hop beat. Whatever else I feel about this one, I am pretty proud of the bassline.

--Drums are chopped from a CC0 loop Ineff found and shared to the M8 Community Jam
--Guitar and bass are me, recorded with a headphone amp into M8
--The tambourine is my own recording
--The synth droney bit is a sample of my Monotron Duo

It's short and sweet, but it creates a nice little groove and sounds cool.

Yeah I love the jangle in the drums.

The guitar is right in the pocket.

This is a great groove. The drums sound nice and crunchy, and you are right to be proud of that bassline. The bass and guitar sound awesome. Took me a couple listens to catch the Monotron Duo, but happy to hear it in use.

Ooooo yes, that bass line is fire! Love the groove that the percussion brings to the song as well.

Thank you! Maybe a good groove is good enough once in a while

Thank you! Loosening up on the guitar without getting sloppy was a challenge, so I'm glad it worked for you

Thank you! I might revisit this one post-WB and see if I can do something more with the monotron
