Heatwave

Tried something a bit different this week - ran nanoloop mono through a reverb/delay and distortion pedal. Then ran the recording through a VHS tape (on LP speed).

I think to it effects setup really paid off. The end result is really unique… it’s not normal sound into lofi nonsense, its lofi stuffed lofi. So rad.

I really like the tone of the main synth part. The echoes also sound sooo crisp and cool.

Ah ha!  Yep - the unmistaken sound of LP and AGC.  Did you have picture on the tape to to stabalise things or just black image?  Great lil nano-loop track.... for some reason it reminds me of the kinds of sounds they were making in the 1960s.  I think the reverb and tape warble.
