Well what do you know. Was sure my streak was about to end because I had so busy week. On sunday I popped on my latest synth, Yamaha PSS-100 (chiptune heaven synth that was modded with an output), and hit some notes with it. No midi in that thing, so everything is bit off. Gives it a charm, right?

So, everything but the lead sound (Korg MS-20 vst) and bass patch (Kawai K4) comes off from pss-100 (yeah, drums, crunchy!).

Funny how everything in here formed in just a few hours really, and on seven tracks in Reaper. I guess BoC's new album, Inferno, got me on idm style fire today.

I like the idea of not programming anything for a track. Gives it a nice, human touch. Never heard of the PSS-10, but you make very could use of it's quirky sound.

Those unusual sounds for the boppy beat are so cool. I like all those shorter sounds that are both percussive and melodies. cool stuff.
