Southern Mangrove

By Sir Bunting on January 17, 2026 4:39 pm

This is the chromatic lydian scale in 3/4 time. I used some backwards-sounding patches to make it more bubbly and swamp-like. The 5:00 mark onward is my favorite part because of the, like, southern detective show jazz thing where the chromatic note goes down twice. The secret was chromatic lydian LOL I've never done one of those before. Therefore it's a southern mangrove.

That was an odyssey and a half, a weird trip in a mangrove with barely a compass to orient oneself. Nicely done, great composition!
