Moorlands Encounter

6/8 time, Prometheus scale. Transposition numbers are 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2.
The cello rhythm is from the Final Fantasy Tactics track entitled "Desert Land". It is an effective rhythm for making 6/8 sound more like a duple meter - a marchlike one-two one-two feel.
For reference, here it is in sixteenth notes: |o--o--o-o-oo|oo-o-oo-o-oo|
I may return to this particular scale. It is a challenging one to use because of the missing dominant note after a raised fourth.

hey! haha you actually inspired me this week and I did a 6/4 track (for the first time yikes ) hehe
this track is nice but feels less dangerous than the previous ones wink

Like the wildest variety of folk music. Superb rhythmic control!

Very cinematic and intense. Definitely favorited.

Dig the time sig .. menacing in a non-standard time sig is a great combination!

Mr forth.... once again you've made a great track.  Great suspense.  Digging the wholetone vibe. Personally felt like the EQ lacked a bit of mid range... but still say well.

Thanks, appreciate it. Non-standard time sigs are my favorite big_smile

Thanks for listening cTrix smile I totally get what you mean about the EQ - sometimes results from using too many samples from the same soundbank. I'll try and be mindful of that. Always appreciate cc

oh~~~gooooooood!!!!!!
cool rhythm 6/8 sound.

I like to change in such a song, an important place to 3/4(In order to aim the effect of half-tempo).
