Cetvorno Sopsko Horo

By Sir Bunting on March 27, 2016 2:12 am

7/8 and 10/8 time with various fills. No unusual scales in this one.

This is my cover of a Bulgarian folk song called "Cetvorno Sopsko Horo". The original creator is unknown. The song is now available in the Creative Commons http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

I learned the drum beats from the Youtube channel "Muyaki".
The 7/8 beat is from the video called "muyaki x Drum Lesson - 7/8 over 3/8 Xcoordination Polymeter / Polyrhythm"
The 10/8 beat is from the video called "AK68 Geek Beats #2 Djent/Technical/Modern/Progressive Drum Grooves"

Once again I am in awe. I think I'm doing well when I use 7/4 ::)

Two of my favorite time signatures, rocked out righteously. I didn't notice the ploymeter during the 7/8 part... I'll have to check out that YouTube vid!

Solid track!

The beat kicks ass and I dig the video game feel of the music.
