A lot of progress this week...made a pretty basic pattern-based drum machine in pd and basically went haywire on various experiments. Not least of all, an fm looper instrument I've been meaning to build on (based on Martin Brinkmann's abstractions). First experimented with adding rhythmic elements to these fm loops in tilt the beast...Suppose I'll be refining these instruments over the coming weeks.
Never got around to tidying the patch though so it's a fucking awful mess, much like the audio
