Which may or may not be a quaint and mysterious village in the heart of the English countryside... big_smile

Written on the doom-laden eve of Brexit...think you might get where I'm coming from here wink

Anyway, this is the first track produced entirely and performed live on the OP-Z. Bit disappointed with the vox, would have liked to drench them in fx, but get this, there is no mix control for the fx on vox...yet? who knows. The words are a couple of lines paraphrased from something my uncle said, and a couple of lines out of my old punk band... I'll just say I like the direction this goes in, if not (entirely) the actual destination. Enjoy your week in this ever more lunatic world!!

Super oppressive sound, gnarly and evil. This is sick heart

love the kick/sub/noise sandwich kickdrum. mix on this sounds pretty great here - vocals are mixed low but works well in context. I feel like noise gating your vocals or using sharper edits between words and creeping in a tiny bit more distortion in parallel on the vox would give it a little more bite in a good way smile

thanks, yeah I agree about the vox. I probably won't use the built-in mic and fx on the OP-Z much more for live stuff, it was just an experiment really. There is nowhere near enough control over the sound...

A little sinister and menacing, and very hypnotic. I like the driving beat and vocal style. Adding to favs and downloading!

Do you like Skinny Puppy ?
Still do not understand what is the op-z ...

Sure, in small doses. Talk to me about Selofan tho cool  Not sure I understand what an op-z is either smile One day soon, the shards will align...

Wumpscut called and want their vocal mix back. This is really cool. Can I be contrarian and highly recommend using the built in mic again? big_smile

So cool to see what that little machine can do, great track.
