black hit representation 1

By sinewave on January 19, 2014 9:21 am

In the late seventies, a small group of sonic investigators based in Sheffield, England known as The League of Humans stumbled upon a bizarre timespace event. They published details of the event in a piece called The Black Hit of Space.

This is an attempt to reproduce the sounds discussed in that work, or at least some aspects of it. It may well be that all of the sounds in the anomaly cannot exist in the same audio space. I may return to this later on for another attempt...

Experimenting with pd vocoder patches, and op-1 tape tricks using the audio from last week. Most of it was recorded live and chopped here and there after the fact.

Also, cheers for the comments last week!
