Very busy this week so I just threw together a mess of trumpets piano and grain delays :~)
Quick and fun.

I love all the textures and layers in this - the insistent upper drone, the fidgety mid range and the moaning trumpet. The grain delays folded really nicely into the acoustic stuff as well.
I'm also enjoying trying to figure out the significance of the title. It seems like it could be about determined seedlings penetrating the surface of the soil. The slightly sinister atmosphere seems to suggest critique of a global food conglomerate. And still there is an edge of humor or sarcasm, maybe a bowl of peanuts falling haplessly to the floor, gobbled instantly by a hungry dog. A mystery!
Nice man. You really build up some tension with this one. Sounds great.
It's like a wild heard of free range trumpets frolicking in a meadow. And who doesn't like a free range trumpet? Fun composition!
Mmm, that's a delicious trumpet texture.
Nice work on those trumpets!

Fascinating. Nothing's holding these sounds back.
The pianos work a treat! Then add texture. Very Reich.
Thanks so much pals!

Thanks for the kind words! The title is literally just because I got some raised planters this week to plant some winter veggies, but I did think it left it open for plenty of interpretation. I could never have imagined the bowl of peanuts scenario but I love it haha
