Its not just on you

Messing around with orca again, its been a while! I feel like I'm never quite making use of its full potential but its super satisfying/therapeutic to just build up some layers of shifting sequences and let them play. Could easily pour ours into that.

wow, I was never able to make anything decent in Orca but this is lovely. I really like that chorusy steel drum sound. really nice atmosphere.

This one is really cool.  The meter is so ambiguous and all the parts are doing their own thing but still compliment each other really well.  Really fun to listen to on headphones.

Beautiful soundscape. Really chill but broad sound field. Love the percussive, FM sound quality of many of the instruments that are over the swell of strings and organ. Nice!

Beautiful world of sound,
into which you take us there.

Thanks! Orca is a bit of a strange one. Lends itself very well to certain workflows but I find it difficult to execute pre-existing ideas with it. Its great to use if you're feeling a bit creatively blocked up I find!

Thanks man! Yeah, its really easy to get things shifting and phasing (meter-wise) like this in orca. Great fun!

Thanks so much! I often shy away from those kinds of sounds, but theres something about giving the computer compositional control that makes me feel more at ease with these less organic tones.
