Our Time Together Bittersweetly Meets its End

By siggy13 on January 10, 2014 1:48 am

Decided for this week to write a song that was acoustic guitar plus vocals. This was to challenge myself as I don't have much practice with lyrics. However I accomplished this goal and am happy with the result.

This song is dedicated to Karl and Ben. We've been roommates, bandmates, and best friends for the last 5 years. I'm really going to miss you guys when I move to Seattle this summer.

please don't forget about me

no homo tho

also serious crit: watch when you loop parts, the times when your guitar loops stick out like a sore thumb.  I don't know if you can check waveforms like you can in Logic but you might want to either look into that or record your guitar parts in one take.

I'm almost certain this was your first time doing this so it's not that big a deal, just keep it in mind for next time%u306D

woah I can't type in Japanese???

The overdubs work pretty well.  Wierd question - but were you standing up when you recorded the vocals?

I was, why?
