Wrote the intro riff and the bassline like last week. Today I had nothing better started so I turned that into a song. Named after its one long continuous guitar solo. Hope you like it, I think it's pretty cool. Oh, and the bass is actually just my guitar with the bass octaver effect (and lots of distortion).

that's how you do it! awesome song! the focusrite rocks wink

(one side note: the drums sound mostly ok, only I don't like the toms for some reason. they sound so thin and too snappy for my taste. otherwise, nevermind. just a personal observation)

tips tips tips (no protips): if it's in ableton, you should be able to individually adjust drum levels if you drag n drop a MIDI file, so lower the volume of your toms next time?  it's not that they're "thin" to me, but they are definitely too loud.
How much EQing did you do?  I can hear the bass, but I can't hear what it's *doing* nahmean?
you should've wailed a bit, like "aaaahhhhhhhhh" 80s glam style

good job again this week

Thanks for the comments smile I've only got Live Lite so I don't have many drumkit options, but I also spent like no time on it cuz I was running outta time. I did almost no EQing cuz idrk how to EQ at all. Shame too cuz I rly like this bass part. Next week I'll try to finish writing and recording sooner tho so I have more time to produce, esp on the drums smile

This sounds like me when I jam with myself, so I was down with this, haha. With some focus this could definitely be something really cool. Wail a bit!

I think the drums sound a bit weak at times - yup it's the toms. But I actually think it doesn't matter here. The rough and ready approach totally fits the track. Liked it!
