invincible fig

felt a bit creatively blocked last week's entry where i spent alot of time finessing a number of elements of various ableton jams that simply didnt work into a single track. this time went for a hardware jam and minor re-fix approach.
kind of a spacey acidy techno thing i guess? was satisfying to just punt out in a fairly rapid fashion.

can't tell if its the timbral aspect of using hardware that ends up easier to mould, or whether its simply because i start the project running everything through monitor speakers (when i'm all in the box its usually later at night in headphones)

dedicated to the half dead fig in my garden thats made a stellar comeback in recent times.

Love the way the track starts, just pulled me right in with the sound design and the musical motif.

I love the opening chords and how they morph their way through the track. Great 16th beeps over the top & kudos for keeping things evolving in interesting ways.
