Weary

I've been thoroughly uninspired and unmotivated this week. Didn't have a single second of sound until Sunday.

Then, I spent some time building sounds that I ultimately didn't end up using: GSM interference noises, and a Deluge patch for DTMF tones (synthesized, no samples). Pretty sure they'll end up in another week's song.

After accepting that I didn't get anywhere, I've started from scratch, played around with a few Boards of Deluge presets, and actually had something to start with – an then the Delly crashed, and I hadn't saved a thing.

So I started from scratch again, and this is why the track is titled like it is. It felt more like a chore than fun, but I'm kinda happy nevertheless that I managed to finish something. It's certainly no mind-blowing song, but I don't exactly hate it either. It's okay.

Feel free to ask questions or give feedback. I'm here to learn, and that includes constructive criticism.

I know these kinda weeks so well. Great you managed to pull something out of it! And it does sound great, even if it is just a quick sketch.

Weekly Beats? I love best the tracks that reflect the lived experience of the week. I hear the track resolving to a warm, major chord at the end which gives me the feeling that your week ended on a positive note, including finishing this track on time! thank u

well this is lovely!

Honestly, very relaxing. Everything has space and nothing is crowded.
