Today started out so well. I had an idea, I was in a good mood, and I had some great samples I wanted to use. However, I started to run out of time, and my confidence that "that's just (someone else's) recording of an animal, that's not copyrightable" would be sufficient to use these samples quickly went away.

In the end I took them out, and the song became … different. Not a lot, but also not slightly. And, running out of time, I went from "this is gonna be great" to "this is gonna be mediocre at best".

But: I've got a song for week 51, and all the sounds are legal to use, which means I won't have to be afraid of my next-to-last submission getting deleted without a chance to replace it. Enjoy.
