Closing In

This week I've been binging season one of Dark (2017), and this track is very loosely inspired by the closing credits. I didn't give myself a lot of time, and for that, I think the result is pretty decent. Quite a big chunk of the atmosphere is thanks to that loud scratchy texture that I can't take credit for, it's just a sample.

Yes, you can take credit. There is artistic value in selecting and placing samples, too! Not just in sound design.

Very nice atmosphere, maybe a wetland forest at dusk. The bass is somehow unnerving me with the sixteenths (is it?) seemingly interrupting the texture.
