Chapter Four

I kinda like this one. But I also have to admit: 50 % of the track is the chord progression that's just a Freesound sample, and another 30 % is this recording someone found on a second-hand tape.

The plan was to add some more automation, filter sweeps and stuff to make it a bit more interesting, but right now I lack the energy and there's only a few hours left, so I've made a somewhat finished track out of it and uploaded it.

Also, I should've played this live instead of using the Deluge's arranger mode, but again, I don't have the spoons at the moment. Arranger mode also does start to feel limiting and slow.

I've also learned to not use audio clips for these long samples, but to use a single-row kit instead. Why? Because audio clips allow for far less automation and effects.

Nevertheless, I like it, and I've found some additional gems at Freesound that will surely end up in other weeks.
