The Final Fantasy 7 remake sure is nifty huh?

By scottux on April 12, 2020 9:35 pm

Touching up an unfinished piece from late last year with a bunch of love and a few modified / changed parts. It's my birthday and I just am not feeling it. More tunes will come in the future, and they will be great I bet.

Pretty groovy once it gets going!  I like it. big_smile
Have fun with the Remake!

Happy birthday! I never really played through the original FF7 so I'm looking for a chance to experience it in a modern context.

It's pretty funny how "not feeling it" can be so different among people. When I'm not feeling it its like a minute long song on maybe two instruments, and when you're not feeling it its a 5 minute songs with transitions and many sections and dynamics and mood shifts. tongue I enjoyed it.

Happy Birthday!! Hope you get time to celebrate.  This track is huge! Super upbeat and an awesome daft punk like groove. Sounds like a party! Faved.

Happy birthday Scott!!! I concurr with previous commenters: this one sounds pretty amazing for a "I'm not feeling" jam. I myself would be trapped in a 2 bar loop while you cracked a whole epic trip. Amazing

Loving those super long and delicate snares on the "softer side" near the end. Killer ballad atmosphere

Again, I hope you enjoy yourself. Your art never fails to impress

I've never played FF and I'm not very fond of jRPGs, though I'm sending this with my best wishes...

Happy birthday. I haven't played any of FF7, so maybe?

Loove the opening chords and arpeggios. Great texture and great instruments. Happy birthday!

Love those gritty daft_punk_tronish arps that explode the track open with those epic strings.  The soft comedown outro is a nice contrast to those gigantic arps too.  Happy Belated! smile
