Only half of a very long track titled "slow ing"

By scottux on March 1, 2026 10:21 pm

the track is long! too long for weeklybeats. a little over 11 minutes. It is meandering but also very stationary.

Made heavy use of guitar & ebow, over a pad made from the chords in my previous "decadent chords for sampling" track & fed into SOMA Cosmos for slow distorting wahwahwhahwahwwhwwhah

Mesmerising soundscape. Very lush, with lots of subtle movement. This played right after Tanizaki's "Birdsong Tape" and I can't help but want to mash the two tracks together. Space birbs!

Lush ambience with a bite! This is a new favorite for me, the balance feels perfect and the tone is super entrancing. Awesome work Scottux!

... I'm sorry... I disagree... it is not too long for WB... it's just write... this is such an awesomely meditative track, like the fact that it is both so constant, and yet drifting... is like, at least for me, DEEPLY hypnotic. I would say it was an "instant favorite"... but it took me the better part of 3 minutes to remember to move... so instant once I regained the my senses.

Thanks all! I wish I could upload the full nearly 12 minute version!
