This one is a whole lot of generative midi whatnot and possibly a glimmer of hope. The idea was to score the opening scene of a procedurally generated space exploration game, landing on the first new planet no one has ever seen before, with the opening notes coming in as you start flying towards the planet from the orbital view. The first kick comes in as you're scanning the planet for suitable landing zones, with each kick signifying a new discovery waiting to be explored. And the final beat signifies you stepping out of your craft for the first time.

As with other explorations this year, heavy on the noise and a little inspiration from Angles.

Good concept. It DOES kinda sound like something that one would hear at Kennedy Space Center...in the 70's.

really beautiful stuff & blended wonderfully. can definitely picture what you're describing here. love how that distortion takes it away at the end.

It feels like it lacks resolve, even the final kick doesn't carry a lot of weight to it. It is nice though.

I think you're absolutely right. A big booming kick at the end could have done at least *something* for this piece that doesn't exactly go anywhere.

Would be a great theme for a show like Cosmos too! Very tasty!
