Equipment: Teenage Engineering PO-20 Arcade, Teenage Engineering PO-28 Robot, Teenage Engineering OP-1
Before composing: I knew I didn't have much time again this week, so I had been toying with my new Pocket Operators and decided to make a pitched down slow-mo version of the progression I'd been playing around with most of the week on the bus or toilet.
After completing: I had originally composed a version that included heavy compression and a powerful drum and some heavy builds, but I couldn't get the actual chiptune-ness to build like I wanted, so another time I suppose. This version is basically just using the OP-1 as a mixer and for the spring reverb.

With the drums, I felt it was a lot bigger, but I couldn't get it right before obligations kept me from my gear. Might put the drum version up on soundcloud.

Yeah, I should go back and finish up that version and Soundcloud it.

Glad to see those PO boxes (or should I say "cards") put to good use. I myself "borrowed" the PO12 this week.

Would be great to hear the elaborated version

awesome!!! And I know it sounds far-fetched, but I even hear echoes of The Beatles in there.

that progression is very strong though and works well on the equipment you're using. good work

I love these little guys. I've got five now, the Arcade, the Robot, the Office, the Rhythm, and the Sub. Just missing the Factory at this point.

Thanks guys!

Cool progression and I dig the spring reverb.  Definitely do an expanded version! smile
