Simple! But that definitely works!
I really need to test this awesome machine ^^
I'd like to get things even simpler. Fewer, denser, more meaningful elements. Trial and error, trial and error.
Elektron on the go again! You can tell it's live by the way things mute and tweak :-) Sounds like you are slowly discovering it. Nice verbs
I'm working toward getting a set together suitable for various dance events that I've been invited to play. Part of my time goes to writing my own stuff, and part of my time goes to getting my DJ/remix Octatrack chops happening. My main influences at the moment are Swedish/minimal techno as well as space music/textural stuff. I've been into techno for over a decade, but have never stuck with it long enough to get skilled in the style. There is a lot of empasis in the EM community on originality and pushing boundaries, and I respect that, but my real interest into to be able to sustain flow and energy in dance music for several hours. For me, it's about holding the space for dancers.
love the subtle oscillations. you really keep the groove running the whole way through with so little confusion or distraction. im looking forward to hearing more!
I can't help but imagine some absolute nutter going absolutely crazy with a pair of spoons.. Sounds funky though!
