The Pursuit of the Horsegold / Jakten På Hästaguldet

I desperately needed to extend my live set with a couple of minutes so I found a small random loop on one of my cartridges that I fooled around with to test my custom LSDJ kit ages ago... It really liked the sound of that old kit so I just started out with the instruments that were already in that song file and composed from there.
Composed on a DMG with LSDJ 4.9 and recorded through effect pedal to get some slight depth to those bleeps.

Thanks a lot, glad it could take you back!

Super blippy fun! This particular instrumentation reminds me a good deal of fantomenk, specifically on the staccato short chippy instruments (vs sustained, I guess?)

Fancy, quite nice.

If you put the decay that low, you can get away with either more notes, or a higher tempo.

Ah, I used to listen to fantomenk a great deal when the forum 8bc was still active. I find it interesting that it reminds you of his songs, I'm gonna have listen to compare. I'm glad you enjoyed the blippy fun!

I think I would've put more notes and composed some more elaborate melody if I had less pressure to finish the track in time for my set. I kind of settled for that 'less is more' idea in order to finish it. I got great response from the crowd at the concert and they danced a lot to it so I'm satisfied that the song did its job.
I'm glad you, quite, fancied it and I appreciate your feedback! Thanks a lot!

No problem, chippists deserve the attention.

Neat, Scanian! heart

Reminds me of some of the stuff Demoscene Timemachine does (that's good).

Has a really mischievous quality, like it!

Very well composed.  Cool vibe too.
