Mirrors

By Saucey-dough on November 1, 2020 9:40 pm

Happy Halloween fuckers! I decided to try something a little different/creepy to celebrate the holiday. I had some inspiration after hearing Djippys chainsaw track, haha. I attempted covering the intro of one of my current favorite metal tracks by Fit For An Autopsy. The song is titled Mirrors. I slowed it down to give it that horror vibe. Feel free to check out the original and let me know what you think. Boo.

Boo, exit to your left.  Sweet man, nailed the creepy thing.  Love the pitched down vocal double.  Adds a ghoulish vibe to the whole thing.

Love the detuned piano? Or super low guitar? at the start. Very cool. And pretty haloweenesque...

The vibe here is stronggg

Really nice autumn/Halloween vibe. Which guitar did you use? It sounds enormous. Well done!

duuuuuuuuuuuudeeeeee this is fucking awesome!!!

No pitched down vocals here. Just low ass vocal fry recordings on my part. Haha.

It was my acoustic with the low E tuned to A (because I do not have a 7 string guitar). There is also a piano within the intro, just very low on the keys.

My Washburn acoustic and Fender for the electric. I just used a lot of reverb and pumped some of the low end EQ on the recordings to give it that full bass sound. The electric guitar is also panned to the left and right when it comes in to give it that big sound. Thanks for listening.
