Your Body is a Tempo

I've gone back and forth hating and liking this track this week. Right now, I feel like it's ok. It's actually been one of the most interesting parts about this process. Having a deadline every week and being "forced" to go back and work for periods on tracks repeatedly without jumping around between tunes.
My mood really has so much to do with whether I think music is good or not.
I suppose that probably seems obvious but I thought I was a more objective listener than that.
Oh well.

Sketched this on an MPC live. Then re-synthesised stuff with a Moog Grandmother. Did some tidying in Ableton then piped things back through a modular system to make it sound nasty on occasion.

Bit of word play for a title.
Bam

See you next week!

Damn the shift at the 2 min mark with the arpeggios... I wasn't expecting that.

I like the thick synths and "minimalist" percussions. Nice driving kick.

Thanks. Yeah the shift is rather abrupt eh? I just thought, fuck it. Bam! I don't usually do things as jarring as that so I thought I would lean into it for once.
Thanks for listening and commenting.

This is everything I like in music. Evocative, and inspiring!

Thanks for taking the time to say that! It's really encouraging.

I get cranky if I haven't made music in a while. It's like chasing a dragon, though. Luckily there's many dragons 'round these parts. So slay, slay, slay.
