Aw man, you nailed that Rival Consoles vibe! From the organic, almost fragile/timid plucks to the space of the track, it's really clear where you drew the inspiration. I love the patient build up and the small found-sound percs... Great job!

Thanks for listening and commenting! He's a master subtle tension and a huge inspiration.
Have you ever seen his, "make a track in 10 minutes" video on youtube? It's a great one. Hang on, I'll link it.

Very nice. Love the patient, deliberate pacing; So much restraint!
Love it. Tells a story. Reminds me of Jasper van‘t Hof (with Archie Shepp) mams rose.
Looove the timbres here. Agreed with the other comments, lots of restraint despite having the tools that would tempt you not to be subtle
Great sounds all over this one. Perfect balance all the way through of all the elements.
love the rival consoles vibes every sound is perfectly placed and doing their part. excellent mix, well done!

What I'm hearing is, next time, HUGE ripping synth solo! Thanks for taking the time.

Thanks very much! RC is a talented chap worth emulating in some ways I think. There's something about his stuff that makes me want to listen harder.
I don't know Rival Consoles, but I dug the understated tightness of this track; everything feels very deliberate and intelligent.
agree, Rival Console vibes nailed!
amazing work, great quality, it sounds like an entry from good album, I would not have guessed you took that little time with it.
