Waiting (For The Delivery Guy)

I was looking through a really old LSDJ .sav and started re-working a tune I abandoned in 2011, and then abandoned it again because I found a single phrase that I liked a little bit (the arpeggio that you hear right at the beginning of this track) and got caught up in re-working that instead. And then I felt like singing instead of rapping, and this is what happened.
Waiting (For The Delivery Guy)
It was a long day at work
Slow stinky bus ride home
I fell up the stairs
Who does that?
So I feed my cat
And I put down my phone
No one to call
I'm all alone
Lookin' through my fridge
I guess I could make some risotto
But laziness wins
Laziness wins again
My cat's on my lap I wanna take a nap
I pick up my phone, speed dial so fast
One large mushroom with extra cheese
Call me when you get here, pretty please
I'm watching the clock
Counting the seconds
Maybe it'll get here tomorrow
Or never, I reckon
Giving up hope
Losing my hair
Perpetually sittin'
On the edge of my chair
And I'll keep waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting
I swear it's been hours
I've fallen asleep
If I die before I wake
I hope I dream of pizza to eat
So hungry I think I might die
Screaming in my head WHY OH WHY
Did I order right at pizza prime time?
I'll be waiting forever for the delivery guy
So hungry I think I might die
Screaming in my head WHY OH WHY
Did I order right at pizza prime time?
I'll be waiting forever for the delivery guy
waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting
Oh. He's here.
