Traveling Man

By Sam on March 4, 2012 3:12 pm

A quick little tune I put together last minute for the RPM Challenge this year, and then made a few minor tweaks to this morning. The guitar sounds terrible because it was recorded through the built-in mic on my computer and then I threw the sample into LGPT, looped it, crushed it, and then sang some words over it. It is one of the tracks I might revise later on, but it's done for now. I hope you like it!

I'd normally note the flat singing, but I think the lazy style kind of complements the feel of this piece. And I like the sound of the guitar, really. This kinda reminds me of old-school Weezer.

This stands out.  Like this.  I like the vocals and fuck Victor!

Nice work - you've created a slacker anthem for the 2010s when no-one can afford to be a slacker anymore and everyone is a wage slave.

muppets, ftw

Thanks for listening, all of you! Jetkick, I love old-school weezer, so that means a lot to me.

I like the layering of the vocals, this is a really fun track cool

Wow, I missed this before! Jumped to my favourite songs of this whole thing!
