Wasn't really sure what to do this week. Been kind of a rough week and just felt like I wanted to get some of the feelings out into a track. I was focused mainly on the sound and the vibe of the track rather than any particular sounding melody. In all honesty I was just trying to make something that sort of walked the line between interesting and unpleasant to listen to. It was rather cathartic actually. Looking forward to checking out the other submissions from everyone this week and also last week!

Can't help but think of Metroid when listening to this (on account of Dread), and I think this music fits thay vibe really well. Mechanical, alien, unnerving.
Hope this coming feel is less stressful. Looking forward to hanging this Friday at the Kayo Dot show big_smile

ooh yais that gravely percussive sound on the left is so good.  Love how it filters in and around the rest of the drums and bass.  such a cinematic atmosphere, it feels like i'm running from a toothy stephen king monster \m/ well done!
