Waking up the bird

By sad_infamy_sings on June 4, 2022 12:30 am

saxophone is getting better! still having issues with embouchure and playing certain notes, but it’s slowly improving. I know I’m not doing vibrato right ahahaha, but my mouth was already wavering from my lack of practice, so I just rolled with it.

I have a lot of things on my brain and i really wanted to sing this week, but i guess i’ll save it for nest week since i’ll be on the road when i normally write during the week next week.

Sad infamy jazz FTW!

Been trying to come up with the right word for the music here, landed on "kind" as in "kindness." It's a kind tune. Your recordings continue to inspire: in our clinical medium-less sound world of audio files, the noise and breath and the humanity of music is great. You, though, got the proportions for magic down to a science, and I mean it in the "I am jealous" sense: like that run up F-A-C to tenuto upper G-(breath)-G moment (0:55-ish) is you(Registered TM) and nobody can do it like you do it.

oh my i love this so much!

i know nothing of the technicalities of saxophone playing but my ears & heart enjoy this sound

this piece give me the "kind" feels too smile

smooth waking sound, bet you can wake many things with it, not just birds

Thanks! I’m glad my random saxophone  escapades are nice to listen to. I’ll definitely make more!
