Spent most of my week messing with FM and trying to get the sound that I wanted but completely forgot about composing the rest of the song. Played around with a few ideas in this like the different beat breaks i've heard in some of Hydelic's songs and also try to play around with the lead to break up the monotony just...a bit. Also to practice fade ins with the M8. Not sure if its smart to do it with the mix volume or the global volume... not my best track but it be something!

Something is always better than nothing, I suppose you can use this sound for better use later

Keep on keepin on yo! This has some cool sounds and much potential, you can break the monotony by removing parts and adding them back in later or switching instruments.

Thank you! That's true, it's something I've pondered about was instrument switching. I notice subtleties / slight changes can make such a huge change to a song.

I like the sound of the chord inst. smile

I like the sound of the synth. I've had those weeks where I sit at the computer playing with a sound for hours to forget why I was working on the sound. Getting out something is still an accomplishment here.

That's my goal this year, 1 track a week, at least a minute long, even if it's not great, I wanna get it out. It doesn't have to be a phenomenal track but just a sketch or something to toss out there
