Picked up the mic again, trying to get more and more comfortable with my voice. It's so tough, which is why I probably avoided it forever in some regard. Super rewarding though when it works out. I'm pretty happy with the vocal take I had, not perfect, but so it goes. After singing and weaving together the intro (which the atmospheric glitchy sounds are also my voice, so is the hyper glitchy/distorted part too). Funny after all that, the synths are pretty lame. Ah well, overall a good exercise, not enough time to go back and re-craft some madness thereafter, so distorted arps it is.

On the other hand, Thursday and Friday were spent working intensely on a remix for a local Chicago group with the main project with my friend, Digital Gnosis. The first time we ever pushed the music to astronomically awesome limits that we had to stop, walk to the lake then go and get a beer because it was so magnificent. Super pumped to finish it up across the month. Feeling like we're totally leveling up and eager to hear what our next album will sound like.

The vocals really did work out well - I have similar struggles but my coping mechanism is to stick 'em upfront and clean and pretend like they're meant to sound that way ;>
Otherwise, liking the tune too!
