Another IDM/Downtempo tune. A mix of emotions. A lil morose as the year's end approaches, knowing on at a global level there's a lot of unease and it doesn't look like that's changing anytime soon. A more local somberness as it relates to the precariousness of my immediate family and the holiday times. But there's also glimmers of hope and strength. Having overcome some difficulties at work across the year, further strengthening my resolve as I continue to grow as a manager. And definitely the excitement of weeklybeats - as we are just a week away from finishing up this fantastic shared adventure, I'm so happy for everyone who's made it this far as we cheer each other on! I definitely feel like I've leveled up. I feel like I've learned more about my own process and some more of what influences have shaped how I approach and craft sounds. UGH anyway, I'm gonna stop there since we have 1 week to go, then I can gush further!
