Woo, the past week off work work to focus mostly on music-making was a huge success. This track was a brief attempt to work on a slower tempo/breather type track before the final track, but just didn't make the cut. Started by diving into Maschine and looking through Arturia DX7 presets, found one that's vaguely reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails first album, sounds and then tried putting some other NIN related synth sounds in there, including the original Kenyan sample source used in Head Like A Hole but at a few different spots. Overall, it's OK. I think my favorite part is around 1:30ish when I just sliced up the distorted DX7 sound and it has this moment of "What if Justice produced Pretty Hate Machine?" hah.
