This is probably the worst weeklybeats I've done. Don't really want to go into all the details for the week (hah I'm probably the only one who uses weeklybeats as a journal). Nevertheless, busy. Work has a lot of changes coming, some expected, some expected sooner-than-later, but all in all, never felt overwhelmed.

Thursday was wild. A friend had to drop off a bill to play live and Digital Gnosis wound up swooping in to 'save the day'. We were asked around 4:30pm if we could play, said yes then left work just a bit early to rent a zipcar, load up our gear and make it out to the venue just in time for load-in. Saw a lot of friends and upon reflection, didn't really feel any sorta social anxiety. Probably because if we stopped to think we'd go crazy - but the set was killer. Friday was slower as a result for being out so late and what not. Saturday was also the official full-day writing session to begin the next Gnosis release. Very excited.

Where I've been spending a lot of my creative energy this week: writing 3 other songs to be potentials for a podcast intro. I'll share in the coming weeks if all goes well and it comes to fruition. Whee. Anyway, wb15 though for me that I uploaded was pretty much 30min just pulling it all randomly together. Sorta like a waltz and spooky then some vanilla techno that if I focused on either more, could be interesting - but just leaving them as sketches.
