Seems like I've got this stride for the past 10 weeks where there's one I'm really happy with, then the next week is procedural but not really interesting. This is the latter. Similar technique described last week - taking old drum sounds and tossing them into a random Maschine kit. I am happy with the spacey verb sounds of hi/lo toms... and found myself doing weird experiments with reverb and distortion. Specifically putting 3 huge reverbs onto a perc, then recording it and taking the tail end to crank it and distort it and chop it. Boring acid bass, an OK TAL U-NO-LUX arp, but I did nothing with either. Ah well. At this rate then, next week's should be a banger (assumably I've now jinxed it, haha).

IN OTHER NEWS. Here's my friend's, Traumabond, released a remix album, Scratched Out + Rewritten, which features my remix of their track Rusting. Whee.

Superb use of dynamics.
